12 noon Alastair Savage with Euan Drysdale (guitarist/pianist) & Iain Crawford (double bass) Originally from Ayrshire, Alastair Savage has performed as a classical musician with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra since 1997 and has performed in China, USA, South America and Europe. As a traditional performer, he has broadcast as a soloist on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Scotland and has recorded 2 albums.Recent performances include the St Magnus Festival in Orkney and the Edinburgh fringe. |

| 1:00pm Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin Band
Founded in 1995, The Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin provides an opportunity for young people from across the city to come together and learn skills in traditional Scottish music.In addition to a hugely popular annual Easter event, EYG has a year-round programme of workshops and performance opportunities for young people aged 9 – 25. The band performing today has participated in one such workshop last weekend to devise these sets alongside their mentors. |

2:00pm Eilidh Steel and Mark Neal Described as “One of the most inspiring and popular things in Scotland since Ikea arrived, giving you new colourful ideas but at the same time keeping retro important”, the west coasters play music influenced by Argyll and other Highland music, but also jazz, funk and many other genres. Eilidh is a prolific composer and studied Scottish Music at the RSAMD. The duo has toured extensively throughout the world and have performed with Euan Macgregor and pop band Madness. |

3:00pm 3 Men in a Boat Pete Clark (fiddle), Gregor Lowrey (accordion), Jamie Jauncey (piano) More of a lifestyle opportunity than a band, Three Men in a Boat is the brainchild of Pete Clark, Niel Gow expert and aficionado, and Gregor Lowrey, virtuoso box-player.Multi-instrumentalist, Jamie Jauncey adds his expertise to the group. Pete, Gregor and Jamie are all veterans of the concert and ceilidh circuits.Expect an eclectic mix of Scottish tunes ranging from 18th century to present and including one or two not-so-traditional surprises! |

4:00pm Jamie Laval with Ross Martin (guitar) & Rod Weeks (Scottish small pipes) Born in the US of Scots-Irish parents, Jamie Laval wows audiences with his intensely passionate performances of traditional Scottish and Irish music together with music from Brittany and Quebec. In 2002, he won the U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Championship and has been acclaimed as "one of North America's finest practitioners of traditional Scottish music" (Mercury News) and "the next Alasdair Fraser" (Press and Post, Scotland). |
