This year the Scots Fiddle Festival will run throughout the weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of November 2010, with a great programme of workshops, concerts, cabarets and ceilidhs.
We are in need of an army of volunteers to help staff the Assembly Rooms throughout the weekend, to help with ticket collecting, stewarding, raffle ticket sales, manning the information desk, late night ticket sales and lots more.
During the event we split the weekend into timed slots of roughly 3 or 4 hours, and then assign volunteers to specific tasks such as Ticket Collecting, Stewarding, Raffle Ticket Sales, Helping on the Information Desk etc etc, for that time.
We always try to have enough people on to allow breaks during a time slot.
In return for helping out for a couple of sessions there are great concessions with free access to the day and late events, excluding “Heat the Hoose”, the “Grand Concert” and the “Workshops”.
The Festival is also organized and run entirely by volunteers, so we are always delighted to have help in the weeks leading up to the event.
If you are still keen to help, can you let me know roughly what times you'd be available and if there's anything in particular that you'd like to do – we’ll then fit you into the rota.
For further information or to confirm your availability to help this year, please contact Cathleen at volunteers@scotsfiddlefestival.com
Hope to hear from you soon.
